Being a Gemini, Maxine loves to have a few projects running at the same time.
As a child, she kept herself busy making her own home movies, inspired by stories her brother had written.
When the opportunity to go to Barker College arose, she joined the choir. She was selected to fly with them and sing in Europe, and had the opportunity to be on Channel 7’s Battle of the Choirs. Drama was a big part of her schooling, having the chance to play the lead role Suzanne in Picasso at the Lapin Agile directed by Damien Ryan. This drove her to work on a number of short films when she finished school.
Sydney Actors School gave her the opportunity to fine tune her acting skills and nurture her creative mind. As Maxine moves into the next phase of her life, she will endeavour to exercise her acting chops but will also be cultivating and strengthening her ability to edit and work in post-production.
